Obituary - Frank O. McCain - Frank O. McCain died last night at the home, 1247 Grandview, Kansas City, Kansas. A native of Paola, Kas., he had lived in Kansas all his life. He was a geologist in the Mid-Continent oil fields. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Eleanor R. McCain, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary F. Marlow, 8905 West Ninety-seventh, Overland Park; a son, O.E. McCain, San Bernardio, Calif., and five grandchildren. Private gravesite services will be at 1:30 o'clock, Thursday, at Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 10 o'clock tonight at the Simmons Chapel. - Kansas City Star, Wednesday, March 23, 1966.
