Frances M. Gray, 92 a resident of Henryville, IN, passed away at 3:15 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at her home.
Born April 2, 1923 in DeKalb, ILL, she was the daughter of Herman Abbott and Iva (Montgomery) Abbott.
She was a 1941 Henryville High School graduate. Frances worked as a custodian for Henryville Community Schools and before that she worked hard on her family farm beside her husband.
On September 1, 1941 in Lawrence County, TN, she married Raphel Martin Gray who preceded her in death on December 17, 2013.
Frances was a member of Henryville Community Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include, 2 daughters, Donna Miller of Henryville, IN, Linda Mullins of Henryville, IN, 4 grandchildren, Rhonda Engelsen of Martinsville, IN, Shirley Miller of Martinsville, IN, Kim (Kevin) Cardwell of Jeffersonville, IN, and Brian (Heather) Mullins of Henryville, IN, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and 7 siblings.
She was also preceded in death by 2 siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, IN with burial to follow at Mt Zion Cemetery.
