Mr. Garl Atlee "Dick" Tressler, 69, of
Old New London Road, Mount Airy, died
Friday, Aug. 14. He was the husband of
the late Larue Fox Tressler.
Born Feb. 12,1918, in Rocky Ridge, he
was a son of the late Samuel G. and
Rena Bell Tressler. He was a retired
farmer.
Mr. Tressler is survived by four
brothers, Hammond U. Tressler of
Urbana, Paul W. Tressler and Samuel
G. Tressler, both of Mount Airy, and
James M. Tressler Sr., of Walkersville;
three sisters, Florence Magaha, of
Mount Airy, Lillian Pasquarette, of
Frederick, and Mary Bollinger, of
Emmitsburg. He was predeceased by
his parents, wife, one brother, Guy
Tressler, and one sister, Eleanor
Tressler.
Graveside funeral services will be
held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at
Central Cemetery near Linganore. The
Rev. Galen E. Hahn, funeral home
chaplain, will officiate.
