WILLIS VIRGIL ALLEN
Willis Virgil Allen, age 80, of Fairdale, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Raleigh General Hospital.
He was born on June 3, 1931, in Fairdale, W.Va., a son of the late Elbert Allen and Carrie Bradford Allen.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Inez Cole and Ernie Trump; brothers Sebert, Bill, Bob, and Earl Allen; and a son-in-law Butch Sauls.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 55 years Mrs. Shirley "Dumpie" Allen, at home; a son Johnnie Allen of Fairdale; a daughter Tammy Sauls of Fairdale; brothers Shirley "Windy" Allen and wife Phyllis of Fairdale, Wandell Allen and wife Linda of Indiana; grandson Matt Sauls and wife April of Fairdale and a great-grandson who was the love of his life Jonas Sauls; special cousin and friends Ureal and Pat Allen of Fairdale and Neil Rutherford of Fairdale; and a special brother-in-law Paul Trump of Bolt.
In keeping with his final wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
