Carl C. Stapley, 72, of Carey, died February 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1943 in Carey, to Clescent C. and Audrey M. (Stroub) Stapley. Surviving are 2 brothers, Ronald (Virginia) Stapley of Carey and Joseph Stapley of Upper Sandusky and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Stapley and a sister, Carol Cheney. Carl worked in the maintenance department at a psychiatric hospital in Columbus, retiring in 1996. A private family graveside services will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey at a later date, with Rev. William Schultz officiating.
