Mrs. Fannie Gregory, 702 E. High st., a resident here for the last 22 years, and the mother of Dr. William Gregory, died Saturday afternoon at Mt. St. Rose hospital, St. Louis.
She had been in failing health for the last two years and entered the hospital in March.
She was born on July 19, 1874, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Bond. She was the wife of Dr. Joseph S. Gregory who died 27 years ago.
Survivors besides Dr. Gregory are two brothers, Samuel and James of Oakland, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. William Thompson and Mrs. Joseph Livingston, St. Louis; Miss Emma Bond, Eureka, Calif.; Mrs. J.A. Eads, Iberia; Mrs. Dollie Berry, Olean; one grandson.
Funeral services are pending but burial will be in Meta where Mrs. Gregory made her home before coming to the Capital City.
