John M. Reeves, 66, of Springfield, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. He was born in Springfield the son of Monroe and Julia Reed Reeves and had been a resident of Springfield his entire life. He was formerly employed at the Leland Hotel and was a member of Bartenders Local.
Surviving are his wife, Freda; one son, John W.; father Monroe Reeves, mother, Mrs. Julia Denton; six sisters, Mrs. Charles King, Mrs. Yale Rolley, Mrs. Irene Allison, Mrs. Dorothy O'Donald, Mrs. Elma Bringle, Mrs. Marie Crim; brother Bud Reeves.
Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
