MRS. DORA ROHWEDDER RITES HELD SUNDAY
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Dora Belle Rohwedder, 86, at the McCurry Funeral Home, Feb. 3. Burial was in the German Cemetery near Indian Grove.
Dora Belle Billups was born July 7, 1876. Her childhood and most of her adult life was spent on a farm in the Newhall community. On Sept. 30, 1902, she married George John Rohwedder. After his death in 1938, she resided in Mendon for several years, then moved to the Pleasantview Home in Huntsville for the past several years.
She is survived by one son, Harry of Evanston, Illinois; two granddaughters, Kathy Rohwedder of Evanston, Illinois, and Mrs. Linda Rasley of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, William Billups of Magnolia, Illinois, and Roy Billups of Van Nuys, California; and one sister, Mrs. Maggie McKane of Mendon.
