Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at graveside in Waco Memorial Park with Rev. T. A. Burton officiating.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Gwendoloyn Griggs of 3829 James; two sons, James W. Catchings of 3512 Rolando and Billy Wayne Catchings of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Allie smith of Smithville; two brothers, Buck Catchings of Red Rock and Struber Catchings of San Antonio; and four grandchildren.
