Sherrock Shipman, youngest son of
Mrs. Gertie Shipman and the late
Grant Shipman, died at the home of
his uncle, Wm. Shipman, Friday
morning, Oct. 7, 1910, aged 7 years
and 3 months. Though a little suffer-
er for many months from that dread
disease, tuberculosis, he was patient
and loving to those around him draw-
ing the hearts of those who tenderly
cared for him in cords of love and
leading them to the mansion above.
His mother, two sisters and one broth-
er, besides many relatives and friends,
are left to mourn his loss. The funer-
al was held at the home Saturday af-
ternoon, conducted by Rev. Moore of
Brighton, after which the remains were
placed in the vault in Grove street
cemetery, New London.
