DEATH ON BUTLER ROAD
Grant Shipman died at his home
on Butler road last Saturday even-

failing health for more than two
years but was confined to his bed
but a few days. Last Tuesday he
spent the day in New London, says
the Record. On returning home he
was taken much worse and failed
rapidly. He was 41 years of age
and well known in New London and
on Butler road, where he resided
all his life and had many friends
besides his relatives who will miss
him. He leaves a wife and four
children, one brother and two sis-
ters.
The funeral was held at his late
home Tuesday at 11 o’clock, con-
ducted by Rev. Newton Moore. His
body was buried in Grove Street
