Florence L. Mizen, 80, of 253 Union St., died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Fla.

She was born Jan. 5, 1920, in Clyde to Floyd E. and Elma (Shipman) Smith. On May 9, 1939, she married William T. Mizen in St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He died June 24, 1998.

Surviving are two sons, both of Tiffin; eight daughters, 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Benson, of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Preceding her in death were a granddaughter; a sister, Marjorie Small; and a half sister, Eudora Sees.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home with the Rev. Gail Angel officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, Community Hospice Care, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
