Betty was born February 20, 1927 in Straban Twp., Adams Co., the daughter of the late Luther H. and Naomi M. (Shanebrook) Decker.
Betty was a life member of St. Paul's "The Pines" Lutheran Church in New Oxford and was a 1944 graduate of New Oxford High School.
She retired from Pantry Pride in Hanover and was also formerly employed at Hanover Wood Heel.
Betty is survived by five children, Victoria E. Wojtkowiak and her husband, Scott of York, Barbara J. Myers and her husband, Dan of New Oxford, Jeffrey S. Kline and his wife, Pamela of New Oxford, Douglas L. Kline of New Oxford, Lori S. Sneeringer and her husband, Steve of Hanover; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Decker of Brushtown; and three sisters, Jean Myers of York, Elsie Kepner of New Oxford and Shirley Kulynych of Thomasville. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Hannah Kline; a brother, Glenn Decker; and five sisters, Ruth Heikes, Blanche Beamer, Florence Lawrence, Mildred Klunk and Mary Hufnagle.
Following funeral services at St. Paul's "The Pines" Lutheran Church, 1535 Hunterstown-Hampton Rd, New Oxford, with her pastor, the Rev. Benson Paull officiating, burial will be in the church cemetery.
