She was born in Adams County and was a daughter of the late John H. and Maggie (Sachs) Shanebrook. She was a member of The Pine's Lutheran Church, New Chester. Her husband, Luther H. Decker, died in 1961.
Surviving are 11 children: Mrs. Andrew M. Heikes of York; Mrs. George W. Beamer of New Oxford; Mrs. Harry E. Myers of York; Mrs. Harold F. Lawrence of New Oxford; Mrs. Curtis J. Klunk of Hanover; Mrs. Harry L. Kline of New Oxford; Mrs. Peter T. Hufnagel of Hanover; Mrs. Clyde E. Kepner of Hanover; Mrs. Charles L. Decker of McSherrystown; Mrs. Charles Kulynych of Thomasville; and Glenn J. Decker of New Oxford; 29 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
There are three brothers and a sister: Mrs. Archie H. Sturms of New Oxford; Charles Shanebrook of Tully, N.Y.; John H. Shanebrook of Syracuse, N.Y.; and Mark G. Shanebrook of Spring Grove.
Funeral services held at the Fred F. Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford, with the Rev. Dr. M.R. Hamsher, officiating. Interment will be in The Pines Cemetery, near New Chester.
