Born March 15, 1925, in Cleveland, Mrs. Lutz was a daughter of Michael and Susan Missik Beharry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lutz, on May 18, 2000. They were married Feb. 5, 1945.
Irene was a cook at the Suburban Restaurant and Inn 62, both Hermitage.
She was a member of St. John’s Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, Hermitage.
She enjoyed playing cards and cooking for her family.
Irene is survived by two sons and a daughter, Robert Lutz, Albion, Erie County; Kathryn Minnick and David Myers, both Hermitage; and 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by a son, John Lutz; two daughters, Susan Myers and Janice Scanga; a grandson, Matthew Gondek; a sister, Dorothy Stoner; and two brothers, Paul and John Beharry.
