Donald Theodore Woll was born on August 21, 1925, in Baltimore, Maryland. Son of William J. Woll and Theresa M. Kremer, he was the brother of Theodore William, Theresa Mary, William Henry, Edward Patrick, Loretta Florence, James Lawrence, Bernard William, Harold Joseph, and Patricia (Sister M. Aniceta, IHM). He registered for the WWII draft in 1943, and served his country. Donald married Emma Elizabeth Buchhalter, and they were the parents of Tim, John, Donna, Jody and Mary. He died on June 25, 1985, and was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Danville, PA.


"Donald T. Woll, 59, of Danville RD2, died at his home late Tuesday night. He was born Aug. 21, 1925 in Danville, son of the late William and Theresa Kremer Woll. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A veteran of World War II, he had worked at Merck & Co. for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, the former Emma Burchhalter; two sons, Tim, Danville; and John, Bloomsburg; three daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Donna) Cox, Montgomery; Jody Woll, Pottstown; and Mrs. Eric (Mary) Moyer, Sunbury; five brothers, Theodore, Danville; Edward, Riverside; James, Baltimore, MD; Bernard and Harold, both of Danville; three sistes, Mrs. Leonard (Theresa) Talone, Conshohocken; Mrs. Millard (Loretta) Linthicum, Colorado; and Sister Patricia, Brooklyn, N.Y., and five grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. from St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow in parish cemetery under the direction of the John J. Brady Funeral Home.

There will be no viewing Thursday evening. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until time of service Friday. The family will provide flowers and donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society."
