Willie Belle Brown Williams
MOULTRIE - Willie Belle Brown Williams, 96, 926 Roberts Road, died Friday Dec. 11, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at China Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Ricky Griner, Charles Daniels and James Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sidney M. Williams Jr., Thomas Edwin Norman Jr., Bobby Gene Pearce Jr., Stephen Julian Williams, Michael Alvin Williams and Ricky Dean Williams.
Born Aug. 1, 1902, in Sumter County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Willie Virginia Sherman Brown and the late Benjamin Oliver Brown. She was a homemaker, member of China Grove Baptist Church and a member of Easter Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, S.M. "Bud" Williams, two son, Herbert M. Williams, and Martin Williams, and a daughter Myrtice William Norman.
Survivors include five sons, John Horace Williams and wife, Annie Grace, Sherman Parker Williams, Ray Gene Williams and wife, Jeanette, Alvin Wendell Williams and wife, Dinky, all of Moultrie, and Sidney Maurice Williams and wife, Sandra, of Thomaston; three daughters, Agnes Virginia Davis and husband, Mose, of Albany, Bernice Pearce Cooper and husband, Vic, of Moultrie, and June Holcomb and husband, Frank, of Stockbridge; a son-in-law, Edwin Norman of Norman Park; two daughters-in-law, Betty Williams of Norman Park and Doshie Williams of Moultrie;
26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
