Services Honor
S. M. Williams

Services for S.M. (Bud) Williams, 70, were held Monday afternoon at China Grove Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. J.J. Weeks, the Rev. Buddy Morris and the Rev. Kenneth Long. Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Carroll Nesmith, Ervin Dale Nesmith. Junior Baldy, Ellis Fletcher, Wayne Tillman and Billy Roland. The China Grove Masonic Lodge had charge of the grave side rites.

Mr. Williams died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon at Vereen Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his widow the former Willie Belle Brown; seven sons, Hebert M. Williams, J. H. Williams, Sherman P. Williams, and Alvin Williams, all of Moultrie, Martin Williams, Norman Park, Ray Gene Williams, Tifton, and Sidney M. Williams, Titusville, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Mose Davis, Albany, Mrs. Edwin Norman, Norman Park, Mrs. Bobby Pearce, Crosland, and Mrs. Frank Holcomb; and seven sisters, Mrs. Josh Tillman and Mrs. H.W. Watson, both of Moultrie, Mrs. O.J. Nesmith, and Mrs. E. J. NeSmith of Coolidge, Mrs. L. F. Fletcher, Thomasville, Mrs. W.O. Baldy, Ellenton, and Mrs. Julia Roland, Jacksonville, Fla.
