Phyllis D. Bennett Rule, age 95, of Canal Winchester, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center.
Born November 29, 1917 in Stickney, SD to the late Julius Medford and Martha (Sprick) Bennett, but spent most of her life in Sioux City, Iowa. She retired after 40 years from (Wincharger) Dyna Technology, where she was a sales representative. Resided the past 3 years at Springs at Carroll Assisted Living in Carroll, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband Walter "Bud" Rule, and brothers Delbert, Maynard, Billy and Gilford Bennett.
Survived by her daughter, Diana Rule (Gary) Newman; grandson, Jeffrey Newman; granddaughter, Robin Newman (Mark) Dunkle; great-granddaughters, Jordan Newman, Kaylee & Katelyn Dunkle; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation by Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, Canal Winchester. Burial at a later date in Sioux City, Iowa.
Donations in Phyllis' name may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 2032 South Cypress, Sioux City, IA 51106, where she was a life-long member.
