Mary Sophia Rushton, 98, passed away March 4, 2010, in St George Utah. Mary was born February 13th, 1912 to Ephraim and Phoebe Swain.
She married Leslie Mitchie July 13, 1932, and he died August 10, 1945. She married Chris Rushton January 2, 1947, and they were married 52 years when Chris passed away June 10, 1999.
Mary is survived by son, Dale and Barbara Rushton; 2 step-daughters, Janis and Golden Coon, Verla Kingsbury; plus many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heber LDS 3rd Ward Chapel,240 East 400 South, Heber, Utah. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services. Interment will be at the Heber City Cemetery.
