Richard D. Koethe, 52, died in his home in Frankfort Springs Monday, October 16, 1950, at 7 p.m.
He had been a railroad engineer for the Weirton Steel Company since 1931 and had worked Sunday night.
In addition to his wife, Edna, surviving are one son, Darrell Koethe, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Mae Ackman, Frankfort Springs; one brother, Frank Koethe, West View, three sisters: Lenora, Etna, Carrie, Mt. Washington; and Emilie, Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 20, 1950 at 2 p.m. from the late home in charge of student pastor, Robert R. Wilson.
Internment was in Grandview cemetery, Florence (Pennsylvania).
