My Great-Aunt Nora never married, never had any children. She was a wonderful, thoughtful, kind-hearted woman, who loved her great nieces and nephews very much. I loved my Aunt Nora and enjoyed the visits we had to her apartment in Paris, PA as a small child.
When my dear mother (her niece) Helen died in 1966 and my father wouldn't spend the money on a proper obituary, Aunt Nora paid to have one put in the Pittsburgh paper. A wise business woman, she owned many silver mines and stocks. At her death, she kindly remembered all her great nieces and nephews in her Last Will & Testament. She was a real lady.
Aunt Nora is greatly missed.
