FORMER RESIDENT OF CITY IS DEAD
NORTH JUDSON, Feb. 13--Mrs. Louise Tomlinson, 69, wife of J. A. Tomlinson, died at the family home here at 3:40 o'clock this morning. The Tomlinsons formerly resided in Logansport. Mrs. Tomlinson being a member of the Wheatland Avenue Methodist church the Gold Star Mothers, War Mothers and Legion Auxiliary of that city.
Funeral services will be held at the North Judson Methodist church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

Friends here and elsewhere were grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. Louisa J. Tomlinson, wife of J.A. Tomlinson, at her home here Monday morning at 3:40 o'clock. Mrs. Tomlinson had been ailing for the past 16 months, during which time she was always in a pleasant and cheerful mood, ever thoughtful to help make her illness less trying and burdensome to her loved ones. Deceased had been practically a life long citizen in our community, excepting for several years residence in Chicago, and Logansport. She was active in all church societies, Gold Star War Mothers and Legion Auxiliary, being an enthusiastic member of each, before her declining health. Mrs. Tomlinson had many accomplishments of a humanitarian nature to her credit and always carried out all duties assigned her in a creditable manner. She will be greatly missed in her large circle of friends as a Christian woman, a loyal church worker and a friend whose memory as such will always be cherished. Louisa Jane (Mulvain) Tomlinson was born in North Judson, Indiana on June 5, 1863, and died Feb. 13, 1933, aged 69 years 8 months and 8 days. Her parents were Joseph and Betsy Ann Mulvain. On April 16, 1887, she was united in marriage to James A. Tomlinson in North Judson. Three children died in infancy, Clyde in the World War, and Bess Merriam of Converse, Ind., survives. Mrs. Tomlinson is also survived by her faithful husband, three grandsons, Richard Tomlinson of San Francisco, Calif., and Ronald and Reed Merriam of Converse, Ind., one sister, Mrs. Alice Baker of Woodlake, Nebr., one brother, Milton Mulvain of Walla Walla, Wash.
Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. W.L. Hargrave in charge, assisted by Rev. J.D. Hickman of Chicago. Remains were interred in the North Judson Pioneers Cemetery. As a last request of the deceased, remains were not viewed at the church.
