Catherine Elizabeth Gibson, 65, of Moorefield, W.Va., died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, W.Va.

Mrs. Gibson was born April 2, 1940, in Hardy County, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late Wilbert J. and Mary C. Strawderman Hartman.

She was a member of the Living Water Worship Center.

Survivors include her husband, Roy E. Gibson; four sons, Mike Gibson and James Gibson of Moorefield and Charles L. Gibson and Steven R. Gibson of Culpeper; three daughters, Pam Whetzel and Bobbi Tippetts of Moorefield, and Melissa Whetzel of Keyser, W.Va.; four brothers, Lee Hartman, Richard Hartman, Junior Hartman and Kenny Hartman, all of Culpeper; four sisters, Evelyn Zaun and Stella Wratchford of Moorefield, Judy Vandevander of Fort Seybert, W.Va., and Betty Harper of Old Fields, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pastor Joe Dunsmore will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, W.Va. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
