Funeral of William Harrison Kirk, Jr., 75, who died Saturday night, was set Monday at 3 p.m. at McKenzie Methodist Church here where he was a member. The pastor, the Rev. Raymond Trompler and Willie Mann, Church of Christ minister, had charge, burial being arranged in Oakwood Cemetery, by Cooper Funeral Home.
Nephews were named pallbearers.
Mr. Kirk, born in Mississippi, December 18, 1882, son of William H. and Judith Ann (Marks) Kirk, moved to Fannin County with his parents when he was three years old and had lived every since in Dial community.
He married Miss Ellen Cunningham, June 10, 1906, and she survives, besides four daughters: Mrs. Ed Smith and Mrs. G. C. Merrell, Jr., Honey Grove; Mrs. T. B. Tarver, Irving, and Mrs. Alvis Campbell, Dallas; eight grandchildren and two brothers, J. W. Kirk, Honey Grove, and O. C. Kirk, Dallas.
