Daisy was born in Furnas County, Nebraska, near Beaver City, Nebraska on November 7, 1897, to Lydia and Pembrook Burt.
She passed away in Kearney, Nebraska September 23, 1982.
On September 22, 1920 she was united in marriage to Oliver H. Colling, who had six children. Daisy made a happy home for these children. One daughter was born to Oliver and Daisy to complete the family.
Daisy has resided in Wilsonville for over 64 years. For many years she has been an active member of the United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, and Federated Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by husband, Oliver, son, Floyd and daughter, Lucille.
Survivors include sons, Clifford H. Lincoln, Nebraska, Darl L. Hemet, California, Charles C. Sidney, Nebraska and daughters, Myrtle McCleave, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Geraldine Breiner, Salt Lake City, Utah, grand children, great grand children, and great great grandchildren. Sisters, Pearl Mattice, Twin Falls, Idaho, Vella Harrington, Springville, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Wilsonville Methodist church on Sunday afternoon September 26, 1982. Entombment was at the Wilsonville cemetery under the direction of the Lockenour Mortuary of Cambridge.
