Mrs. Hoyle was born in Muncie, to Walter and Fern Barrett Hayden. She married Harry Hoyle Sr. in Pennsylvania in 1949; her husband died in January of 1969.
Survivors include three sons, John E. Hoyle of Huntington, Harry Hoyle Jr. of Indianapolis, and Daniel Ray Hoyle of Bristol, Va.; three daughters, Darlene Homier of Huntington, Martha Hoyle of St. Augustine, Fla., and Sabina Clevenger of Crawford, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vivian Douthitt of Elwood.
Five brothers — Phil Hayden, Victor Hayden, John Hayden, Charles Hayden, and Mervil Hayden — preceded her in death.
