Vivian was a homemaker who loved to cook any and everything you could imagine. In addition she enjoyed collecting angel dolls, sketching, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son Arch E. Douthitt of Elwood; daughter-in-law Pam Perry of Elwood; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Rita Bill of Royerton; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Douthitt Sr.; sons Richard Douthitt Jr. and Walter Douthitt; sister Arvada Hoyle; brothers John Hayden, Victor Hayden, and Phillip Hayden.
Funeral Services for Vivian will be held Monday, November 18th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Garden View Funeral Home.
