Married to Henry Robert Lucas on December 21, 1884. Mother of Goldie E., Robert, Noble and Edith Elizabeth Lucas.

OBITUARY:

Aged Resident of Near Sandborn Dies

Mrs. Miranda Lucas, 75 years old, died at the residence near Sandborn at 9 o'clock Sunday night. Mrs. Lucas was the widow of Henry R. Lucas who died in October 1939, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Robbins.

She was a member of the Bethel church for the past 45 years. She and Mr. Lucas celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in December of 1938.

Survivors are two children, Noble Lucas and Mrs. Edith Purcell, four brothers, John and Dan Robbins of Bloomington, and Lee and Jim of Carlisle.

The body was taken to the Newkirk Funeral Home and later returned to the residence. Funeral services will be held at Indian Prairie church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Joe Allen will officiate. Burial will be made in an adjoining cemetery.
