OBITUARY:

John Martin Robbins, Age 75, Passes

John Martin Robbins, 75, widely-known Monroe county carpenter, died at his home two miles west of Clear Creek at 11:30 o'clock Friday night. He was the father of Claude Robbins, Blooomington carpenter, and had built many beautiful log cabins throughout this section.

Because the family has not been able to contact two relatives, Mrs. Joseph Breckey, of Indianapolis, a daughter, who is on a vacation, and a son, Burl Robbins who is 80 miles out on a lake near his home in Detroit, funeral arrangements have not been made.

Mr. Robbins is survived by the widow, Mrs. Lennie Robbins; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Deiss, Carlisle; Mrs. Breckey, and Mrs. Carrie Coster, at home; two sons, Claude Robbins, Bloomington and Burl Robbins of Detroit; three brothers, James and Lee, of Carlisle, and Daniel of Bloomington and nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
