Noble Lucas
Noble Lucas, 78, of R.R. 2, Carlisle, died 2 p.m. Saturday at Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris Smith, Pleasantville; two sons, Morris of Capitan, N.M., and John P., Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Edith Purcell, Linton; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Indian Prairie Baptist Church. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Newkirk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating.. Burial will be in Indian Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
His wife Ruby preceded him in death in 1970.
