Levi was the son of Joshua Brantley and Temperance Ann Radford. He was married to Martha W. Sturdivant of Walton County, Georgia on 1/19/1841 in Walton County, Georgia. They had 8 children. Two of his sons are buried here with them. This cemetery only contains 4 graves within the beautiful wrought iron Victorian fence, which is located on once was Dr. Brantley's plantation. It was once a huge acreage. The graves within the fence are Dr. Brantley and his wife Martha, and two sons. Andrew H. Brantley was only 8 years old when he drown in the nearby river. The other grave is that of another son, Warren J. H. Brantley. He was only 28 years old when he died - reason is unknown.
