Obituary - Atlanta Constitution - The friends of Dr. James Pope Brantley, Mr and Mrs W. N. (William Newton)Brantley, Dr. and Mrs. J. L. E. (James Lemuel Ernest)Brantley, Mr and Mrs Henry F. (Fink) Boston, Mr and Mrs William B. Brantley and Mr and Mrs John (Wesley)Brantley are invited to attend the funeral of Dr. James Pope Brantley, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 606 South Pryor Street. Rev. Dr. Wallace officiating. Interment Hollywood. The pallbearers are requested to meet at Greenberg & Bond Co., at 1 p.m. Limousine funeral. Woodmen of the World will take charge at the grave.

Dr. Brantley was the son of Dr. Levi Gaines Brantley and Martha W. Sturdivant/Brantley. He and his wife had 10 children.
