Mr. Conn farmed for 50 years, retiring in 1982, then did carpentry work until 1991.
Born Jan. 9, 1928, he was a native and lifelong resident of Brook. He married Ruth M. Whaley on Oct. 14, 1947, in Crawfordsville. She survives.
Mr. Conn was a member of Brook United Methodist Church, Iroquois Conservation Club and American Legion Post 364 in Brook. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He served in the Army and was discharged in 1947.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Roger S. Conn of West Lafayette and Richard L. Conn of Brook; sister, Laura Vaughan of Brook; and five grandchildren.
Visitation 5-8 Tuesday at Gerts Funeral Home, Brook. Service there 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Rose Woodke and Richard E. Gerts officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Brook.
