Charles A. Conn, 84, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Happy Siesta Nursing Home, Sheldon, Ill., where he had been a patient four years.
He was born at Brook and had been a life time resident of this community. He was a retired farmer. In 1912 he was married to Ruby McFarland, who died in 1954. Mr. Conn was a member of the Brook EUB Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lora Vaughan; one son, Robert Conn; one sister, Miss Nellie Conn, and one brother, Chester Conn, all of Brook; and 5 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hershman and Weston Funeral Home, Brook. Services there at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. William Paterson officiating; interment Riverside Cemetery, Brook.
