Lloyd M. Conn, oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conn, was born in Beaver City, Ind. His entire life was spent in Newton county. At the time of his death he belonged to the Senior class of the Brook High School.

At the age of 10 years he united with the United Brethren church at Brook and until ill health interfered took active part in various lines of church work.

In early summer, he began to fail in health and although everything possible was done to restore health he gradually faded until death. The last 53 days were spent in bed but through all he was uncomplaining finding comfort in the fact that "He knew God was able to do all things and that with God nothing was impossible."

He passed to the Great Beyond, Sunday evening, October 9th, at 6 P.M. at the age of 19 year, 5 months and 26 days.

He was a good boy, well liked by the people, and promising.

He leaves to mourn his going the father and mother, two sisters, Ardell and Laura and one brother, Robert, these all reside at home. Besides these there are many other relatives and friends that are grieved because of his going.

Funeral services were conducted in the United Brethren church at Brook, Wednesday, October 12 at 2 P.M. Rev. B. E. Chambets officiating. Burial in the Brook cemetery.
