John Francis Barry, 43, died last night in the home of his sister, Mrs. Anna Burch, 1553 Oneida St. after a week's illness with pneumonia. He was born in Utica July 4, 1896, a son of Thomas and Mary Lynch Barry and had always made his home here. He attended the local schools and for many years was employed as a knitter in the textile mills. For the last year he had been associated with his brothers James P. and Thomas F. Barry in the operation of the James P. Barry Liquor Store, 136 Genessee St. He was a member of the church of the Blessed Sacrement. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Burch, Mrs. Joseph Albright and Mrs. Margaret Burke; and four brothers Edward J., Thomas F., James P., and Leo R. Barry of Utica.
