MELROSE RANCHER, RAILROAD MAN, DIES SUDDENLY
Thomas Malloy, 49, a resident of Butte and Melrose for the past 32 years died last evening at his ranch near Melrose of a heart attack.
Mr. Malloy had worked for the UP at Melrose for the past 11 years and recently purchased a ranch near there.
He is survived by his wife, Violet, and five children. The children are a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James O. Grose, Melrose; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Malloy of Ogden, Utah a son Verlin in the Navy and Francis and (a younger son) of Melrose.
There are four grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters surviving. The brothers are Charles and Sam Malloy of Butte and William of Arkansas. Names of the sisters are not available.
Mr. Malloy was a member of Dillon Lodge 16, A.F. and A.M.
The remains are at the Brundage Funeral Home.
