Son of Moreland Watters and Katie Love. Husband of Margaret Koofer. Father of Isaac Moreland, William H., Rosa J., Jesse, Matilda Bills, Norris Taylor, Charles B. and Lillie.

Obituary:
John G. Watters died at his home near Bellwood Saturday afternoon at 3, aged 69 years and 6 months. He had resided in Blair county nearly all his life. For 22 years he served Antis township as constable. He was jury commissioner two terms and had been assessor for nearly eight years. He had also been tax collector for eight years. Deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, Williamsburg Lodge of Odd fellows and Logan Valley Castle, Knights of the Mystic Chain. Five sons, William, and Jerry of Altoona; Moreland, Morris and Charles of Bellwood, and two daughters, Misses Rosa and Lillie, survive with the wife. Two sisters, Mrs. M.E. Vaughn of Mt. Jewett and Mrs. Rose Koofer of Juniata, and three brothers, James L. Watters, Burnt Cabins; W.H. Watters of Yellow Springs, and Jesse Watters of Juniata county also survive. The funeral services will be held at his home, Tuesday afternoon, at 2; interment in Logan Valley cemetery.
