LUBBOCK - Rev. Loyd Edward Futch, 58, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1989.

Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Schooler-Gordon Bell Avenue Chapel in Amarillo with the Rev. Shell Denison, pastor of St. Mathew's United Methodist Church, and Dr. Clifford Trotter, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo.

Rev. Futch was born in Mobeetie. He lived in Amarillo seven years before moving to Lubbock a year ago. He attended Southern Methodist University at Dallas.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Futch; two sons, Larry Futch of Bovina and Terry Futch of Haskell; two daughters, Tammy Cable of Yuma, Ariz., and Kristi Futch of Lubbock; four sisters, Maurine Bennen of Amarillo; Virginia Gooch of Pampa, Lois Spurrier of Springfield, Mo., and Odessa Harbinson of Odessa; two brother, J.D. Futch and James Futch, both of Pampa; and seven grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Kidney Foundation. They will be at 10110 Truman St. in Amarillo.
