Services for Mrs. Marene Futch Bennett, age 80, of Lindale, are scheduled for 10AM on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Lindale Church of Christ with Brother Wayne Fancher officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. Bennett died on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the East Texas Medical Center Hospital in Tyler.
She was born on September 20, 1933 in Mobeetie, Texas to James David and Maudie Ratchford Futch and was formerly of Amarillo before moving to Lindale 15 years ago. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Lindale Church of Christ and was formerly employed by Bank of America and the City of Amarillo.
Survived by: Husband of 63 years: Mr. Keith Bennett of Lindale, Children: Tina Morrison and husband, Brad of Irving; Harold Keith Bennett Jr. and wife, Gold of Camerillo, California; and Kathy Cameron and husband Kenneth of Rowlett, Sister: Virginia Gooch of Pampa, 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grand Daughter.
