Besides her husband, she is survived by a son & 6 daughters, Groover Rooks, Mrs. Elmer Wenhold, Mrs. William Miller, all of Carpentersville; Mrs. James Fleck, of Revere, Pa; Mrs. James Shughrou, of Williamsport, Pa; Mrs. Charles Deemer, of Warren Glen; Mrs. William Clauson, of Netcong; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hugh LaFevre, of Riegelsville, Pa; Mrs. Henry Black, Wilson Borough; (4 brothers), Tunis Hammerstone, of South Side, Easton; Calvin Hammerstone, of Phillipsburg; Jesse & Hugh Hammerstone, both of Carpentersville; 49 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rooks was a member of the Lutheran-Reformed Church, Riegelsville, Pa.
