Galen B. Stine, 79, Rt. 1, Boone, passed away at the Boone County Hospital at 2:15, Tuesday, July 30, 1974. He was born March 12, 1895, at Adel, Iowa and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Stine. On December 24, 1916, he was married to Evelyn K. Brenaman of Adel, and farmed in Dallas County until 1959, when he moved to Mesa, Arizona. He lived there until 1970, when he moved to rural Boone. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Evelyn of Boone; one son Ray of Kremmling, Colorado and one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Behn (Marvel) of Boone. Three brothers, Wm. H., Martin and Ira Stine all of Adel; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
