Martin C. Stine, 86, of Dallas Center died of Alzheimer's disease Monday at Spurgeon Manor Care Center. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Panther Creek Church of the Brethren in Adel, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Stine, a retired farmer, was born in Pomona, Calif., and lived in the Dallas Center-Adel areas all his life. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Dallas County Farm Bureau and Gideons and was a former trustee of McPherson College in Kansas.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys; a daughters, Elinor Heisey of Indianola; a brother, Ira of Adel; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
