Gebhart, Ethel, age 89, of Phillipsburg, passed away Friday evening, Sept. 29, 1989 at Good Samaritn Hospital, Dayton, following a brief illness. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, 1971, brother, Herbert Robert, 1984, sister, Ruth Hutton, 1988. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Opal and Don Fetters, Phillipsburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Willard and Martha Gebhart, Attica, MI, Robert & Olivemae Gebhart, Grand Rapids, MN; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Irene early and Mary Shiverdecker, both of Brookville, and Phoeba Mundhenk, Lewisburg; brother John Robert, W. Manchester; sister-in-law, Helen Unger, Greenville; brother-in-law David Gebhart, Lewisburg, also a host of dear nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3, 10:30 A.M. from the Phillipsburg Emanuel Lutheran Church, Pastor Joseph H. Bartczak officiating. Burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery, N. Lexington. Friends may call at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Brookville, Monday 2-5 and 6-8 P.M. Family suggests, if desired, contributions may be made to the Phillipsburg Rescue Squad. Envelopes will be provided.
