In 1920 she and her parents and five siblings lived in a house they owned, mortgage free, on Apple Street in Phillipston, PA. Her father worked as an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Her mother's brother Paul and his family lived next door.

In 1930 she and her parents and five siblings lived in a house they owned on Phillipston Road in Brady Township, Clarion County, PA. Their home was valued at $1200 and they did have a radio. Her father worked as a locomotive engineer for a steam railroad and William worked as a laborer at a rubber mill.

Bernice B Campbell, 83, of East Brady died Wednesday at Sugar Creek Rest, Worthington.
Born in Phillipston, Brady Township, Clarion County, May 4, 1914, she was the daughter of Hardy and Anna (Remaley) Tribley.
She was a 1932 graduate of East Brady High School and a 1936 alumna of Hoff Business College, Warren, Pa.
She had worked as a stenographer for the state and federal governments. She also was an executive secretary at Rex Hide in East Brady.
Mrs Campbell was a member of the United Methodist Church of East Brady where she served as secretary. She also was a member of the Bradys Bend Historical Society.
She enjoyed writing poetry.
She is survived by two sons, Dr A John Campbell of Tionesta and Larry Campbell of Seybertown; a daughter, Mrs Dale (Judy) Coven of Sugarcreek Township; a brother, Minton (sic: Milton) Tribley of Roanoke, Va; a sister, Olive Horan of East Brady; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J Campbell, who died in 1997. Three brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.
Campbell--Friends of Bernice B Campbell, who died Wednesday, Feb 4, 1998, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday at Charles B Buechele Funeral Home, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. Services will be held at noon Saturday at the United Methodist Church of East Brady with the Rev Clara Kohlmeyer, church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bradys Bend Historical Society, PO Box 451, East Brady, PA 16028.
