In 1910 he and his wife and their two children lived in a place they were renting in East Brady, PA. He worked as an engineer for a railroad.

In 1920 he and Anna and their six children lived in a house they owned, mortgage free, on Apple Street in Phillipston, PA. He worked as an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Her brother Paul and his family lived next door.

In 1930 he and his wife and their six children lived in a house they owned on Philipston Road in Brady Township, Clarion County, PA. Their home was valued at $1200 and they did have a radio. He worked as a locomotive engineer for a steam railroad and William as a laborer at a rubber mill.

In 1940 he and Anna and three of their children--sons Milton, Marion, and Robert--lived there. Their home was valued at $1500. He worked as a locomotive engineer for a steam railroad, with an income in 1939 of $3500 for 49 weeks of work. Marion had an income in 1939 of $260 for 16 weeks of work, but his occupation wasn't listed.

Hardy Milton Tribley, 88, of Phillipston, died yesterday after an extended illness.
Born June 27, 1880, at Hawthorn, Pa., he was a son of George S and Carinda F Tribley.
He was the husband of Anna Remaley Tribley, who died in 1967.
Mr Tribley was retired after 50 years as a Pennsylvania Railroad engineer.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church, East Brady and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Surviving are four sons, William G of Chicora, Milton A of Salem, Va., Marion B of Greenville, NC and Robert C of Greenville, Pa; two daughters, Mrs Richard (Olive) Horam of Butler and Mrs Alfred (Bernice) Campbell of East Brady; a sister, Mrs John (Nettie) Kelley of Bristol, Va; three brothers, Jesse G Tribley of Rimersburg, George T and John E., both of Hubbard, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Tribley--Friends of Hardy Milton Tribley of Phillipston, who died Friday, July 5, 1968, will be received at the Charles B Buechele Funeral Home, East Brady from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Saturday and Sunday and at the church for one hour preceding the services. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday from First Methodist Church, Broad Street, East Brady, with the Rev Henry R Norton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemetery. Arrangements by Buechele.
