In 1920 he and his parents and five siblings lived in a house they owned, mortgage free, on Apple Street in Phillipston, PA. His father worked as an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. His mother's brother Paul and his family lived next door.

In 1930 he and his parents and five siblings lived in a house they owned on Phillipston Road in Brady Township, Clarion County, PA. Their home was valued at $1200 and they did have a radio. His father worked as a locomotive engineer for a steam railroad and William worked as a laborer at a rubber mill.

In 1940 he and his parents and two brothers--Milton and Marion--lived there. Their home was valued at $1500. His father worked as a locomotive engineer for a steam railroad, with an income in 1939 of $3500 for 49 weeks of work. Marion had an income in 1939 of $260 for 16 weeks of work, but his occupation wasn't listed.

Robert C Tribley 69, of Greenville, died Friday in Greenville Hospital, after a short illness.
Mr Tribley was retired from Westinghouse in Sharon. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he had served as a staff sergeant in India.
He was Methodist by faith.
Born May 29, 1918, in Phillipston, Rimersburg R.D. 2, He was the son of Hardy and Anne Remaley Tribley.
Surviving are his wife, Jeannette Alwein Tribley; three sons, Robert Tribley Jr of Adamsville, and James and Michael, both of Greenville; four daughters, Mrs Gregg (Jean) Williams of Clarksburg W.Va., Mrs Robert (Claudia) Grinnell of Greenville, Mrs Joseph (Sylvia) Branch of Warren, Ohio, and Mrs William (Grace) Dupol of Fort Hood, Texas; two brothers, William Tribley of Chicora R.D. 1 and Milton of Orange County, Fla; two sisters, Mrs Olive Horan and Mrs Bernice Campbell, both of East Brady; 22 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held and burial made today in Greenville.
Buechele Funeral Home, East Brady, was in charge of funeral arrangements.
