Mrs. Hattie Shipman Swart died in this city early this morning following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Swart resided in Flatbush for over 45 years and was highly regarded in the community and belonged to the Flatbush Reformed Church there.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis E. Swart of Flatbush; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Beshgetorian of Flatbush; six sisters, Mrs. Walter Wood of Flatbush, Mrs. Chester Myers and Mrs. Harry Williams of Glasco, Mrs. Merritt Van Giesen, Elsie and Mable Shipman all of Kingston, and a brother, Robert Shipman of Florida. Also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Jenson and Deegan Funeral Home, 15 Downs Street, Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
