Miss Mabel Shipman, 82, formerly of 645 Delaware Avenue, died at Middletown early today. Miss Shipman was a daughter of the late Alonzo and Hattie Streeter Shipman. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Walter Wood of Flatbush, Miss Elsie Shipman of Kingston, Mrs. Harry Williams and Mrs. Chester Myers both of Glasco; a brother, Robert Shipman of West Palm Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at the Jenson and Deegan Funeral Home, 15 Downs Street, Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William J. McVey, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
